Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, IowaJames Fransen, 45 died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 10am Monday, November 17th at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Jim was born April 7, 1963 in Mason City. He enjoyed golfing, cooking, fantasy football, Iowa State, Nascar and was an avid sports fan. Most of all, he loved his family and his children very much. He was one of the most genuine people you would ever meet.
Jim is survived by his wife of 22 years Shari; his children Tyler and Cortney; his father Paul (Mary) Fransen; his brother Jace Fransen and nephew Mitch Fransen; his grandmother Lilly Fransen; his brother-in-law Craig (Penny) Hein and nephew Chad Hein and his father-in-law Jerry (Becky) Hein.
He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Fransen and his mother-in-law Betty Hein.
Memorials may be given to the family to go towards the education of Tyler and Cortney.
Jimbo will be missed dearly by his family and his many many friends.
