Helen Saylor, of Salina, will celebrate her 80th birthday with a family dinner and card shower.
The honoree was born Oct. 18, 1930, in Urbandale, Iowa, to Thelma and James Rudkin.
She married Lawrence G. Saylor on March 21, 1947. He died in 2006.
Her children and their spouses are Steve and Becky Saylor, of Seymour, Mo. and Pat and Jim Lennox, of Salina. She has seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
