Raymond G. Isacson, 74, Rolfe, died Saturday morning, Aug. 10, at Pocahontas Community Hospital. Services were held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Rolfe, with burial in Grant Township Cemetery, Pocahontas.

Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Judy) Peterson of Rolfe and Mrs. Arthur (Shirley) Smith of LaVista, Neb.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ethel Thompson, Mrs. Joe (Lillie) Johnson, Mrs. Esther Bertrem and Mrs. Agnes Hansell, all of Rolfe, and Mrs. Rachel Logan of Loomis, Calif.

Mr. Isacson was proceeded in death by his parents, wife, and two brothers, Hans and Imer.

Raymond Gerhart Isacson was born on April 19, 1911, at Rolfe, Iowa. He was the son of Andrew and Laura Christiansen Isacson. He was educated at Des Moines Township Schools. On May 4, 1934, he married Eunice Monkelien at Humboldt. The couple lived on the Isacson family farm, which Raymond farmed for 28 years until 1962 when they moved into Rolfe. Raymond joined his brother, Hans, in an upholstery shop in town, until he semi-retired in the late 1970s
