AN ELEVATOR BURNED

Fonda, Iowa, April 2. – Late Saturday afternoon fire broke out in the engine room of Pease Bros’ grain elevator at A-aza and in a few minutes had destroyed the entire elevator and contents. The loss is estimated at $5,000. The runway station was badly scorched and several windows were broken out entailing a loss of several hundred dollars. The cause of the fire is unknown. It is thought the loss is covered by insurance.
