Timothy Allen Brown

AKRON, Iowa - Timothy Alen Brown, 17, of Akron died Sunday of injuries suffered in one-vehicle accident near his farm home.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Akron. The Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Timothy was born May 16, 1963, at Akron. He was a member of the Sophomore Class at Akron High School where he was a member of the football team, 4-H Club lowest OF Westfield and was a two-year member of FFA.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Alen and Laurene Brown of Akron; his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Joann) Coenen of Le Mars; one brother, Tom of Le Mars; two half-sisters, Dana Coenen of Le Mars and Jamie Brown of Akron; four half-brothers, Brad Brown of Akron, Ronnie, Jason, and Coenen, all of Le Mars; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Art Rosenbaum of Akron and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Brown of Akron; step-grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Pete Weyer of Chatsworth; and Mr. and Mrs. and Mrs. Margaret Coenen of South Sioux City; and his great-grandfather of Paul Nitzschke of Remsen.
