DEATH DUE TO CANCER

Fritz Buhmann Passes Away at Local Hospital

Fritz Buhmann, of Washington township, died at a local hospital in this city on Friday from the effects of cancer. He had been ill for some time and was brought to a hospital about a week before his death.

He was a bachelor and made his home with a brother, west of Merrill.

Fritz John Buhmann was a native of Holstein, Germany, where he was born on July 29, 1856. He was never married. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran church in Johnson township
