Errol Sternberg Succumbs to a Heart Attack

Funeral Service Held Here Wednesday Morning

Errol Kingsley Sternberg, away suddenly at his home in Kingsley early Sunday morning, the victim of a heart attack He was the only child of John and Selma Kehrberg and was born Dec.1910 at Kingsley.

He was married to Iris Hatton, at LeMars June 12, 1940, and brought his bride to Kingsley where they lived until the time of his death.

Errol, as he was known to nearly everyone, had been employed at the Knowles and Clark hardware and had come to be depended upon and appreciated not only by his employer but the community as well.

All remember the patient loving care he gave his parents, and was steady and dependable in his work, as he was in all his relationships.

He was a good musician and played for the enjoyment of youth and his friends since his junior year in high school. For the past 20 years, he has been a member of Pete's Orchestra, of Remsen. He was president of the American Federation of Musicians Local 600 at the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Iris, and several aunts and uncles, and a host of friends

Services will be in the Kingsley Methodist church Wednesday at ten o’clock, Rev. J. F. Snyder officiating. Burial will be in the Kingsley Cemetery. Military services will be held at the graveside. Arrangements are in charge of the Dickison funeral home.
