Looking Back
As taken from the files of the Reporter, January 1935
-- Charles Hughes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hughes, left Saturday evening for Iowa City, where he visited his brother, Robert before reporting a Camp Dodge Tuesday for induction into the Army Air Force. From Camp Dodge he will go to Jefferson barracks, Missouri for basic training.
