Frank Sleutel passed away at his home Wednesday morning, June 23, [1926] after four years of suffering from diabetes and pleurisy. Mr. Sleutel was born in Ostfriesland, Germany, June 23, 1874, and came to America at the age of nine years. In the year of 1901 he was married to Miss Anna Steinkamp and to this union were born four children. Mr. Sleutel was well known in this vicinity having farmed here for many years and later moved to Ashton where he passed away. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Frank Hoffman, Mrs. Edward Kirschner of Milwaukee, Gertrude and Irene at home and many relatives and friends. Those who attended the funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steinkamp, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Waldaman, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Hausen, Mr. and Mrs. George Moldamann, Mrs. Frank Tipponthaller, Miss Catherine Steinkamp; all from Breda; Frank Buberger of Belgrade, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Kirschner of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Arend Hassebroek of Sibley.
