John Graves Died

John Graves of Ocheyedan, passed away Wednesday, the 27th ult at a local hospital, death being due to stomach trouble. The funeral was held Saturday from the M.E. church of Ocheyedan. Interment was made in the Ocheyedan cemetery.

John Graves was born in Germany and came to this country in 1855. He came to this county with his parents in 1872 and homesteaded with his brother until his marriage to Dora Bremmer in 1878. He lived in Ocheyedan the past 19 years since his retirement from his farm near that town. He leaves aside from his wife, a brother Hans Graves of Melvin.
