Both groups, Jolly Jills and Willing Workers, have finished another set of readers and work books. They are now reading the last set of books, "Our Friends at Home and School."

The second graders memorized the poem, "The Rainbow" last week, and copied it in their poetry booklets.

Myron Swenson and Elsie Gosch were absent Friday because of illness.

Eleanor Rehborg won the spelling contest in the third grade Friday.

Eldon Harris and Dorothy Grady were absent from school because of illness.

The high school intramural kitten ball league has developed into a great scramble. No team now boasts of an undefeated schedule. Games are played Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 3:10 o'clock. Spectators are welcome.

The annual banquet tendered the seniors and high school faculty by the junior class, will be held in the school house on Saturday evening.

The high school chorus, under the direction of Mr. Cundy, sang several numbers which were well received, at the recent Epworth League convention held in Harris.

Music by this group is in considerable demand at this time of year.
