Ernestine & Louis Auge'

My great-grandmother , Ernestine Sophie Auge', was born in New Orleans in March 1847. Her parents, Joseph Auguste Auge' and Sophie Metayer Auge' were French immigrants who died in a Yellow Fever Plague in New Orleans in the early 1850's. Ernestine had a brother, Louis Auguste Auge' who was near her age.
They may have been Orphan Train Riders as they did go to Iowa when young children. Family lore says E. and a sister were adopted and taken to Iowa, but I have found no info on a sister. I have E's and L's birth certificate copies from Louisiana. Ernestine married James Drummond McGregor in Iowa. I am seeking information on the Auge' children's adoptive parents.
