Funeral services for Sandra Murdock, 57, formerly of West Liberty, were held Oct. 14, 1997 at Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty, with burial in the Oak Ridge cemetery, West Liberty.

Mrs. Murdock died Oct. 10 at University hospitals in Iowa City, following a long illness.

The daughter of Howard and May Hamilton Beach, she was born May 30, 1940. She married Larry Murdock in 1960.

Mrs. Murdock is survived by her husband in Grandview; a son, Jerry and wife Julie, Columbus Junction; a daughter, Sherri Murdock, Grandview; a sister, Marilyn Nebergall, Nichols; her mother in West Liberty; and 2 grandchildren, Pecos and Meagan Murdock.

She was preceded in death by her father.
