Lettsville - The funeral of Mrs. Estle, widow of the late Thos. Estle, of Cedar township, Muscatine county, occurred on the 17th inst. Services by Rev. R. Collier, at the old Estle homestead. Interment at the Brick church cemetery. Susan Shellabarger (Mrs. E's maiden name) was born in Ohio, September, 1818, moved to Iowa in 1838 and was married to Thos. Estle in January 1842. From this union ten children were born, eight of whom survive. Seven of the number witnessed her departure. Some having been summoned from their distant homes in western Iowa and Louisiana. Mrs. Estle trusted full in in the merit of Jesus.
