Funeral services for Kenneth W. Windman, 82, Muscatine, were held Aug. 22, 1997 at Grace Lutheran church, with the Rev. Leif Pohl officiating. Burial was in the Muscatine Memorial Park cemetery.

Mr. Windman died Aug. 18 at Muscatine General hospital.

The son of Henry and Jennie Mentink Windman, he was born Sept. 9, 1914 in Muscatine. He was a life resident of the area. He married Burleen Kell on Feb. 24, 1940 in Muscatine. She died on Dec. 1, 1985. He married Edith Wollett on May 19, 1991 in Muscatine.

Mr. Windman farmed his entire adult life.

He was a life member of Grace Lutheran church and the Moose Lodge.

Mr. Windman is survived by his wife; a son, Keith R. Windman, Henderson, N.C.; a daughter, Linda (Mrs. Robert) Lamb, Muscatine; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Lester Windman, Wilton; and a niece, Carole Anderson, Ft. Myers, Fla. He was preceded in death by his first wife; his parents; and 2 brothers, Edward and Elmer Windman.

Memorials may be made to the Grace Lutheran church and the American Cancer Society.
