Page 3Jas. Ross, a 19 year old boy at Wilton, was hit in the right eye by a sky rocker, on the 3d and killed instantly. The rocket penetrated his head about four inches and exploded. He was promenading with a young lady at the time. Mr. Ross was one of Wilton's most promising and exemplary young men, and this heart rendering accident has cast a gloom over the people of Wilton and vicinity.
