Funeral services for Mrs. M. Louise Maurer, 81, Moscow, were held in Wilton May 29 with the Rev. G. W. Ukena officiating. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery.

Mrs. Maurer died at a West Liberty nursing home May 26, following a long illness.

Mrs. Maurer was born Dec. 7, 1890, at Hills, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hunzinger.

She married Walter Maurer, at Wilton Aug. 25, 1910.

She was a member of the Wilton Presbyterian church, and the Wilton chapter of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Howard Maurer, Moscow; a brother, Fred Hunzinger, Wauwatosa, Wis.; a sister, Mrs. Edna Marolf, Wilton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
