Funeral services for Kenneth DeWayne Kelley, 54, Wilton, were held May 19 at Wilton with Rev. G. W. Ukena officiating.

Pallbearers were Alfred Lenker, Robert Brenner, Raymond Frenzel, Clarence Frenzel, Don Rife and Willie Heinrich. Mrs. Francis Henderson was the organist. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton.

Mr. Kelley died at University hospital, Iowa City May 16 after a sudden illness.

He was born May 2, 1917 in Muscatine county, the son of Irvin and Pearl Maurer Kelley, and had been a lifelong resident of the Wilton community.

He married Violet Baker, Nov. 15, 1941, at Hannibal, Mo. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church, Wilton; the Moose lodge, Tipton, and Elks lodge, Muscatine. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Violet; 3 daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Glenda) Sorgenfrey, Durant; Mrs. Donald (Carole) Jackson, Dover, N.H., and Christie Kelley, at home; a sister, Mrs. Marian Heinrich, Wilton, and 2 grandchildren.
