Last rites for Mrs. Rose B. Weiss, 78, rural Atalissa, were held at Zion Lutheran church, Atalissa Jan. 29 with the Rev. He. E. Rasmussen officiating. Burial was in Weiss cemetery near Atalissa.

Mrs. Weiss died at her farm home Jan. 25.

A daughter of John C. and Maria Welchli Marolf, she was born April 23, 1892 at Moscow. She married George W. Weiss, April 23, 1918 at Moscow.

Mrs. Weiss was a member of the Atalissa Zion Lutheran church.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Marie E. March, Atalissa and Hilda D. Weiss with whom she made her home; 2 brothers, John Marolf, Muscatine and Arthur Marolf, Wilton; a sister, Mrs. Emma Hammerich of Wilton, and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
