Last rites for Wade Wolf, 73, West Liberty, were held June 27 at the United Methodist church in West Liberty. Burial was in Oak Ridge cemetery at West Liberty.

The son of J. C. and Rozella Nichols Wolf, he was born in Muscatine county July 7, 1896 and was a life resident of the West Liberty area. He farmed until 1950.

He was married to Wilma Warren in March, 1922. Following her death in 1958, he married Hylah Chatterton Jan. 30, 1960.

He was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist church, the American Legion, the Muscatine County Farm Bureau and the Knights of Pythias lodge.

He is survived by his widow, 6 brothers, Clark, Ivan and Howard, all of West Liberty; Kenneth, Lone Tree and Robert and Ray, both of Anchorage, Alaska, a sister, Alide, Santa Barbara, Calif. He was preceded in death by his first wife, a son and a brother.
