Mrs. Chester Corder, 57, sister of Lomax V. Chapman, Tipton, was killed in a head-on auto collision Sept. 1 five miles west of Muscatine on Iowa 22.

Funeral services for Mrs. Corder were held Sept. 4 at Muscatine, with burial in Greenwood cemetery at Muscatine.

Juanita, daughter of Oscar and Maude Meeker Chapman, was born in Muscatine July 1, 1911 and lived in Muscatine all of her life.

She was married to Chester Corder Aug. 25, 1929. She is survived by her husband, a son, Ronald, Muscatine; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Joan) Redd, Palmyra, Mo.; 3 brothers, Lomax V. Chapman, Tipton; Vance W. Chapman, Muscatine and Ward L. Chapman, Tacoma, Wash.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Irma) Dutro, Olin and Mrs. Earl (Verla) Robertson, Muscatine and 3 grandchildren.
