MUSCATINE, Iowa - Steve Faust, 50, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the UnityPoint Trinity Muscatine Hospital. He gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.

There will be a Celebration of Life is being held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Missipi Brewing Co. in Muscatine. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made, in Steve's honor, to the family. Online condolences may be made to www.wittichfuneralhome.com .

Steve was born on February 23, 1971, in Muscatine, the son of Bert Everett and Bernadean Hahn Faust.

Steve graduated from L-M High School where he was involved in wrestling and later participated at the collegiate level. He took pride in driving a fork truck at his job. Steve was strong individual and had played rugby with the Muscatine Outlaws. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Notre Dame Irish football fan. Steve enjoyed grilling and fishing while listening to Hank Williams Jr. He never met a stranger, was always upbeat, and encouraging others.

Those left to honor his memory are his two daughters, Emily Faust and Haley Faust both of Muscatine; his siblings, Rebecca Bonnichsen and her husband, Tom, of Letts, Dave Faust and his wife, Trisha, of Muscatine, and Jan Calvert and her husband, Guy, of Nebraska; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ted Pratt.
