Miss Katharine Newham, who made her home with her sister, Mrs. J. F. Fulmer, died Monday morning at 7 o’clock. She had been an invalid for forty-five years and lately she had been a great sufferer. She was born in England, June 2, 1829, and in 1846 immigrated to America with her parents. After the death of her parents she made her home with her sister, Mrs. Fulmer. Miss Newham had attained the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days. The funeral services were held in the M. E. church Tuesday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Fitzsimmons, and interment was in the Nichols cemetery. She leaves one sister and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
