Harmon Myers, well known in this locality, died Sunday night at 10:30 o'clock of influenza at his home in West Liberty. He was a veteran of the Civil War and was born in New York City Sept. 30, 1845, coming to Muscatine county when 11 years of age.

Mrs. Myers died four years ago and a son, Frank, has also passed away. Two sons, Burton B. of Omaha and Carlton F. of Iowa City survive with two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Tomlinson of West Branch and Miss Kate Myers of Iowa City.
