Mrs. Grim, 62, of Conesville Is Called In Death

Conesville – Mrs. Arminta Grim, 62, died here at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ransom Forbes, at 5:10 p.m. Sunday after a lingering illness.
Mrs. Grim was born April 18, 1880, at Marengo. She was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Montgomery. On Feb. 8, 1899 she was married to Charles Grim, who preceded her in death in 1935.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters, Lee and Arthur Grim of Nichols, Mrs. Alice McCullough, Mrs. Gladys Wegmer and Mrs. Ethel Eiselstein, all of Nichols and Mrs. Forbes of Conesville.
Four brothers and one sister also survive. They are Joseph and Harry Montgomery of East Moline, Ill., John Montgomery of Charles City and Ottus Montgomery, of Muscatine, and Mrs. Albert Fulscher, of East Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian church at Nichols. Burial will be at Nichols. The Kirchner Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Rites Conducted

The funeral services of Mrs. Arminta Grim were held Tuesday afternoon at the Nichols Christian church with the Rev. Wilfred Tucker officiating.
Amos Borgstadt accompanied by Mrs. Marie Clark on the piano sang “In The Garden”, “It is Well With My Soul” and “The Old Rugged Cross”.
Burial was in the Nichols cemetery with Tom Dean, Albert Chown, Ralph Longstreth, Alfred Forbes, Ernie Vetter and Leo Heizer as pallbearers.
Flower attendants were Edna Kirchner, Elsie Kopp, Elsie Poole, Ora Nichols, and Rachel Holliday.
