Alice Bishop, daughter of John M. and Janet Bishop, was born in Muscatine, Dec. 18, 1855, and died at her home in that city May 17, 1922, at the age of 66 years, having lived her entire life there.

In 1878 she was married to Christian Graf. To that union was born one son, Arthur.

In 1902 she was married to Bracken Negus, who with the son, are the only surviving members of the family to mourn her loss.
