Mrs. Marguerite Probst, 50, West Liberty, died suddenly Dec. 5 following surgery at Mercy hospital in Iowa City.

Services were Dec. 7 at the Methodist church in West Liberty.

Mrs. Probst was born May 7, 1915 in West Liberty, the daughter of Edwin and Carrie Herr James.

She married Wayne Probst May 18, 1941, at West Liberty. She was a member of the O.E.S. and president of the Fortnightly Literary club.

Survivors include a son, Charles, Moline; a daughter, Jean at home; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Reynolds, Nichols and 2 grandchildren.
