LETITIA SINGLETON

Conesville – Mrs. Letitia singleton, 90, of Conesville, died at 6:45 a.m. today at the Happy Haven Nursing Home at Lone Tree after an extended illness.
She was born March 4, 1872 at Conesville, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ramer. She was married to John Singleton Nov. 26, 1896. Mrs. Singleton was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne Singleton and Donald Singleton, both of Conesville; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Hankins of Arizona and Mrs. Ernest Bjornestad of Belvidere, S. D.; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. (cdt) Friday, at the Stacy Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, by the Rev. George H. DeBoer of Conesville. Burial will be at Conesville. The body will remain at the funeral home pending services.
