Mrs. Daisy Florence Ross.

Mrs. Daisy Florence Ross, 42, died at her home, 1400 Grand avenue, yesterday morning at 4:45 after an eight months’ illness of coroma of the throat. She has been bedfast for five months.
Mrs. Ross was born in Muscatine county, Aug. 30, 1882, the child of James and Sarah Phillips, and was married to William R. Ross, Jan. 13, 1901, at Rock Island. She has been a member of the Muscatine Educational Society. She is survived by her mother and her husband; seven children: William Gilliland, Elevana, Clarence, Julius. May and Robert Ross; and Mrs. Edna Atkins, all of Muscatine; two sisters: Mrs. Amy Showers, Canada; and Mrs. Mary Bear, Muscatine; a brother, Warren Phillips, Montpelier; and three grandchildren.
The body has been taken to the Fairbanks Home for Funerals, where the funeral services will be held at 6:45 Tuesday evening in charge of the Rev. Ernest Schaffer of Cranston, Ia. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
