Mrs. Coyner, 66, Succumbs After Extended Illness

Mrs. Emma Schomberg Coyner, 66, died at 10:08 p.m., Friday at her home on route 5 following an extended illness. She was born at Nichols on May 10, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Schomberg and had spent all her life in Muscatine county. Her marriage to Harry Coyner occurred in Muscatine.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Robert and Freddie, both of Muscatine; three daughters, Miss Alice Coyner, at home, and Mrs. Howard Hill and Mrs. Raymond Toyne, both of this city, one brother, Jacob Schomberg, California; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mait, Alameda, Calif., and Mrs. Barbara Murry, San Francisco, Calif; eight grandchildren. Her parents, five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
The body is at the Geo. M. Wittich Funeral home and services will be conducted there at 2 p.m., Monday by Dr. Claude W Cooper, pastor of the First Methodist church. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
