April 16, 1941 ---- January 2, 2003 in Minnesota

Lyle Ross Edwards, 61, Minnetonka, MN, died Jan. 2, 2003. He was born in Red Oak, IA, April 16, 1941, to Ross Edwards and Irene Dado. He was raised in Red Oak and graduated from high school there in 1959. He married Jeananne Alexander in Iowa City in 1961. He later married Peggy Rysdam in October of 1979 in Norwalk. He worked in Washington for the Joe Falk Co. and for Pacemaker Buildings. He was active in Jaycees, enjoyed University of Iowa sports, and was an avid bridge player. He worked for Southside Lumber in Rogers, MN. for the last 14 years. Mr Edwards is survived by his wife Peggy of Minnetonka, MN; one son, Steven Edwards of Altoona, IA, one daughter Angie Sutera of Phoenix. AZ, one stepson, Eric Rysdam of Keosauqua, IA, and one stepdaughter, Terra White of Garden Grove, IA; two grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren.
