I am a volunteer at the State of Iowa Historical Library. We volunteers are involved in a huge project of finding information on everyone that has ever been an Iowa legislator since we became a state in 1846.

I know the death year of George T. Ashby to be 1920 and that he is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Red Oak. However, I cannot find his exact date of death. I need to locate his obituary in the Red Oak Express. I am hoping to not have to roll through the entire year of 1920 on microfilm.

Can anyone help with the exact death date of George T. Ashby, who was a legislator from Montgomery County?
