Lewis G. Roberts, 74

Services for Lewis G. Roberts, 74, rural Grant, were held Monday at Noble United Methodist Church near Grant with the Rev. Rick Johnson officiating and burial in Noble Center Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wolfe Funeral Home, Villisca.

He died July 13 at his home following a brief illness.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Roberts, he was born Nov. 28, 1909, in Adams County. In 1931 he married Leora Fisher, who survives.

He had farmed the same land for 51 years.

Also surviving are son, Lloyd of Griswold, four grandchildren, three brothers, Earl, Glenn and Virgil, no addresses given.
