Services for Robert Eli Resh, 75, Emerson, are today at 2 p.m. at Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home here with thee Rev. Elmer West officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery here.

He died Saturday at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital here following a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 12, 1908 in Coburg, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Resh. He was married in 1933 to Flossie Wheeler and farmed in the Montgomery County area before moving to Emerson in 1980. A member of the First Baptist Church, Emerson, he was also a member of Emerson Senior Citizens and Southern Iowa Poultry Association.

Surviving are son, Robert D. of Hastings, four daughters, Katherine King of Clarinda, Peggy DeHart of Council Bluffs, Karen Nielson of Omaha and Janice Harvey of Prescott, 13 grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, three sisters, Mabel Woodin of Essex, Gladys Spriggs of Clarinda and Blanche Hinson of Ozona, Fla.
