Her home has been at 204 Valley-st. Frank was born at Fremont, Neb., June 20, 1898, and came to Red Oak with his mother in 1907. He attended school here and at the time of his enlistment in Co. M, April 4, 1917, was working at the freight office in Red Oak. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church. Ho is survived by his mother, Mrs. S.W. Barrier, three brothers, two sisters, one half-brother and two half-sisters, as follows: Lida, of Minnesota, Bessie Brown and Mrs. Paul Clayton, of Parkersburg, Mrs. Frank Godfrey, of Elliott; Harvey Brown, of Illinois; Delbert Brown and Claude Moody, of Fremont, Neb.; Roy Brown, in Michigan. A letter from Frank Brown, written on May 3, arrived here Monday night after Mrs. Barrier had departed for her visit in Nebraska. The next day came the word of his death. Frank Brown was a well liked young man and Red Oak friends join in extending sincerest sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
