Cascade Pioneer, published in Cascade, Iowa on Friday, June 28th, 1895

As they result of a quarrel over a $100 debt, John Dieus, a Negro, and Wilson Whitney shot each other at Red Oak, each being hit twice. Whitney will probably die. Dieus is in jail.
