Info Needed on Samuel J. TRAUGER

Looking for death and burial info for Samuel J. TRAUGER, b. 1854 PA. Husband of Charlotte SNOOK TRAUGER. Last appears in 1900 Federal census in Whiting, Ashton Twp., Monona, Iowa with his wife and children. A news article in Mapleton Press Advocate in June 1902 states he was taken to the asylum. (where would the asylum have been located?) He is not found in any later census. His wife and children do appear in the 1905 census still in Whiting. His wife again appears in 1910, incorrectly enumerated under his name but obviously female and listed as married. In 1915 she is listed as widowed.

Would love to find obit, death date and burial location. Thanks for any help.
