Larry Ray Warren, 77, of Onawa, Iowa passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his residence.

A memorial service will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Paul Coen, officiating. A live stream of the service will be posted on the Goslar Funeral Home website with Larry’s obituary. Burial will follow in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, Onawa, Iowa.

Larry Ray was born July 30, 1944 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of Arthur James and Maxine Ruth (Goodman) Rodman. He graduated from Whiting Community School in 1962.

Larry and Reta (Hyatt) Warren were married in 1962 and five children were born to this union. They later divorced.

Larry and Robin Lynn Taylor were married September 22, 2007 in Onawa, Iowa. She passed away January 24, 2017.

Larry worked as a farmer for many years and a Monona County Sheriff Deputy for seven years. He also worked for the city of Onawa for fifteen years in the maintenance department.

He enjoyed farming, camping, fishing, and gardening. Larry loved spending time with all of his family. He was a Boy Scouts contributor. Larry was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Onawa.

Survivors include his children, Todd (Melinda) Warren of Cornelia, Georgia, Darin (Michelle) Warren of Onawa, Iowa, Barbara (Ron) Skarin of Moorhead, Iowa, Jason (Amber) Warren of Whiting, Iowa, Eric (Jessica Armstrong) Warren of Moorhead, Iowa, and honorary son, Wesley (Jennifer) Anderson of Woonsocket, South Dakota; ten grandchildren, Crystal Twait, Shawntel Warren, Dustin Warren, Dacia Warren, Dane Warren, Destinee Warren, Benjamin Lawrence, Austin Warren, Jasmine Warren, and Nicholas Warren; nine great-grandchildren, Ariana Jones, Phoenix Jones, Jay Goodier, Jaxyn Goodier, Mazie Hearn, Chevy Hearn, Autumn Hearn, Crimson Hearn, and Layten Anderson; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Warren; and parents, Arthur and Maxine (Goodman) Rodman.
