Georgia B. Lamprecht, 90, of Onawa, Iowa, formerly of Whiting, Iowa, passed away, December 11, 2020 at Elmwood Care Centre, Onawa, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Faith Lutheran Church, Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Marsha Smith officiating. (Social distancing measures must be followed-Due to Covid- 19 restrictions- Masks are required.) Burial will follow in the Whiting City Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa. Visitation will be 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Rush Family Chapel, Onawa, Iowa (WE WILL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE FUNERAL HOME DURING THE VISITATION TO NO MORE THAN 15 AT ONE TIME. - Due to Covid- 19 regulations). Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Georgia Belle Moeller Lamprecht was born January 12, 1930 on the farm near Elk City, Nebraska the daughter of Hans Moeller, Jr. and Marie Georgia (Shumaker). She attended the Elk City School for the first 8 years and then went to Valley High, Valley, Nebraska, graduating in 1946. She attended Van Sant Business School in Omaha, Nebraska for a year. Then September 6, 1947 she married Henry Lamprecht at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, Nebraska.

They farmed in Dodge and Douglas Counties before moving to Hornick, Iowa in 1960, where they also farmed. They built a new home in Whiting, Iowa March 1980 and later on moved to an apartment in Onawa in 2000.

She loved her family, farming, camping, dancing, playing cards, and traveling. They wintered in Alamo, Texas for thirty-three years.

Survivors include her children; son, Randy (Diane) Lamprecht of Hornick, Iowa, two daughters, Sally (James) Morgan of Tucson, Arizona and Sandra (Steve) Richardson of Whiting, Iowa; three grandchildren, Michael Morgan, Jason (Renee) Lamprecht, and Jackie (Will) Acosta-Trejo; and six great-grandchildren, Kaden, Dawson, Madeline, and Ashlyn Lamprecht and Liam and Drew Acosta-Trejo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hans and Marie Moeller; Her loving husband of 72 ½ years, Henry Lamprecht (he passed away May 11, 2020); and her brother, James (Nancy) Moeller.

A special thanks to her Caregivers while at Premier Estates and Wing 5 staff at Elmwood Care Centre.
