Evelyn "Marietta" Weber, 84, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Whiting, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2018.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. A dessert reception will follow in the community room. Condolences online at hoyfuneral.com.
Evelyn was born to Lawrence W. "Lonky" Polly and Ella (Hughes) Polly in Whiting, Iowa. Known as "Marietta" by family and friends, she was born April 24, 1934.
Marietta was passionate about her family and her faith. She will be missed and remembered by many who were blessed to have known her as mom, grandma, aunt, cousin, friend, and prayer partner.
Marietta is survived by her children, Dan Weber (Kerry) of Lincoln University, Pa., Curt Weber (Nancy) of Freeport, Fla., Ken Weber (Mary Ann) of Council Bluffs, and Shelly Weber of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Melanie Gehrmann (Ryan), Scott Weber (Jessica), Meredith Reynolds (Colin), Michelle Packwood (Steve), Jason Weber (Kim), Troy Weber (Jacinta), Eric Weber (Joanna), Ryan Weber; and great-grandchildren, Miles, Kai, Emma, Haven, Ezekiel, Lydia, Laura (Colton), Rachel, Nicole, Jasmine, Haden, Harrison, Evelyn, Grace, Vivian, and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by parents; and her husband of 60 years, Edward F. Weber.
