Pete graduated high school from Maur-Hill Mount Academy in Atchison, KS. After high school he attended Loras College and the University of South Dakota until he was drafted into the U.S. Army. Upon his honorable discharge from the service in 1957, he returned to Danbury and was engaged in farming until his recent passing.

Pete was a humble, hardworking, faith based man. His beloved wife, Kathleen, his children, their spouses and his grandchildren were his greatest joys as well as his extended family and friends.
