Hazel Clark, 79, Sioux City, formerly of Whiting, Iowa, passed away November 22, 1984, at Marian Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

She was born October 22, 1905 , at Soldier, Iowa, to Edward and Margaret White Queen. On December 2, 1930 she was united in marriage with Kenneth Clark at Onawa, Iowa. He died November 22,1974, at Whiting. The couple had farmed near Whiting. After Kenneth's death, she moved to Sioux City in 1975 and has been a resident of Holy Spirit Retirement Home in Sioux City since 1977.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include one sister, Maude E Seubert and one brother, Harold L. Queen, both of Sioux City and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; one brother, Howard and one sister, Gladys Hickman.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 22, 1984, at the Wood Funeral Chapel, Sloan, Iowa, with Pastor Carl Hartman officiating. The organist was Mrs. Wilbur Ray and the soloist, Gilbert Smith, sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden".

Casket bearers were Billy Deen, Rex Hall, Rex Kelley, George Seubert, Elvin Burns and Norman Queen.

Interment was in the Whiting Cemetery, Whiting, Iowa, with arrangements by Wood Funeral Home, Sloan, Iowa.
