Farrell Delmas Orr, 76, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Elmwood Care Centre, Onawa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Rush Family Chapel, Onawa with Rev. Dennis Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday.

Farrell was born May 1, 1928 at Bronson, Iowa, the son of James and Winifred (Roberts) Orr. He served in the United States Army Air Corp.

He married Emily Eleanor Krulis December 8, 1956 at First Christian Church, Onawa.

Farrell farmed near Onawa and drove truck for Denny Burson, Sioux City, IA. At the time of his retirement in 1999, he was driving the employee van of Casino Omaha. He was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Tony and Cinda of Turin, IA and Vincent and Rebecca of Missouri Valley, IA; a daughter, Cynthia Orr of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Sarah, Deena, Brenna and Erika Orr and three great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his wife Emily in March, 1998 at Sioux City; his parents, an infant son, a sister, Susie Simmons, and two infant siblings.

Casket bearers will be Jody Reicks, Daryl Reicks, Roger Brink, Harold Gray, Scott Ankerstjerne and Roy Reicks.
