Mrs. Fred Berka of Rodney, Iowa, died at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa. Iowa, on Friday, February 5, 1985, following a brief illness. Death came at the age of 75 years, 9 months, and 3 days.

The former Emethel Olive "Billie " Davis was born at Smithland, Iowa, on May 5, 1909, to William and Minnie Hale Davis. She married Fred Berka October 30, 1946 at Hiawatha, Kansas. They moved to Rodney, Iowa, from California, June 1 June 1983. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Fred: one son, Wilfred Rawlings of Omaha. Nebraska: one sister, Mrs. Lucv Wigton at Seal Beach, California: seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren: and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter.

Services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 11. 1985 at the Willman Funeral Chapel at
Rodney, Iowa, with Rev. Everett Epperson officiating. The organist, Ellen Harbeck played "Just A Closer Walk With Thee".

Pallbearers were Ronald Rawlings, Larry Rawlings, Patrick Rawlings, Clancy Greenfield, John
Brenner and Ronald Brenner.

Interment was in Little Sioux Township Cemetery at Smithland, Iowa, with arrangements by the
Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, Iowa.
