Nickolas Alan English, 7, of Storm Lake, Iowa, formerly of Sergeant Bluff, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at the Children's Hospital in Omaha following a lengthy illness.

Services were held at 11 a.m.; on November 17 at Christy Smith Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Meggan Manlove of Soldier Lutheran Church officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on November 17, in Bancroft Cemetery, Bancroft, Nebraska. Visitation was 4 to 8 p.m. on November 16, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nickolas was born in Omaha on February 2, 1999. The family was living in Onawa, Iowa at the time and moved to Sergeant Bluff when he was a year old. He was currently a resident of Faith, Hope and Charity Homes in Storm Lake, Iowa.

He was a smiling and loving person and loved the walks he was taken on. His brother and sister brought him great joy in life.

He is survived by his mother, Stacy Savery-English and his daddy, Toby English; a brother, Logan; a sister, Miranda; a grandfather, Shurrell Savery of Onawa, Iowa; grandparents, Ben and Linda English of Onawa; an ; aunt, Shelly (Steve) Powley of Fremont, Nebraska; two uncles, Steven Savery of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Scott (Debra) Savery of Gilbert, Arizona; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Raasch Savery.

A memorial has been established in Nickolas's name at the Bank of America in Sioux City
