RUTH HOLLINGSWORTH

MITCHELL, IOWA -- Former Mitchell resident Miss Ruth Hollingsworth, 79, died Thursday at a Duluth, Minnesota, hospital. Funeral services were Monday in Duluth. Committal services were to be Tuesday afternoon at Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell, with the Rev. Lyle E. Norris of First Congregational Church, Osage, officiating.

Miss Hollingsworth was a graduate of Iowa State Teacher's College, Cedar Falls, and received her master's degree at the University of Minnesota. She taught school for many years in Duluth.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Avis Hollingsworth, of Duluth.

Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is handling local arrangements.
