They settled at Hawthorne, Ia., and lived there for three years, coming to Emerson in 1888, where she has lived until two years ago, when she went to Alliance to live with her daughter, Mrs. Johnson. Her death came very suddenly and she will be greatly missed by her children who survive her. If she would have lived to July she would have attained the age of ninety years.

Eight children were born to her, six of them survive. They are; One girl, Ida who died in Sweden at the age of 19, Charles Anderson who died in Essex, Ia., at the age of 51, and Mrs. Anna Degerman, of Omaha, Mrs. Aaron Johnson, Mrs. Hilma Johnson, Mrs. O.
