MALVERN

Mrs. Willie Reed of Madison, Nebr. is here to visit her father, T.M. Aistrope and other relatives.
Mrs. Brad Newcomb of Corning was here Thursday to to attend the funeral of John Dull and stayed over to visit at the C.B. Christy home.

Mrs. Lizzie Lee of Omaha was a guest a few days of her mother, Mrs. Laura Uttivitts and left Friday morning for Shenandoah to visit her sister, Mrs. S. Otis.

Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Barrick went to Council Bluffs last Friday where the latter entered the hospital, and on Sunday underwent an operation to remove a tumor. It was a serious operation but at latest report she was slowly improving.

Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Davis went to Omaha last week and then decided to go on to Denver and Colorado Springs to enjoy the mountain climate and the mineral water awhile.

William Bowery and family of Cola drove up Sunday for a visit at the L. R. Comer home. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Joy of Anita, Iowa, autoed down Saturday for a few days visit with the Comers, so that they had quite a houseful over Sunday.

Dr. F. P. St. Clair and daughter drove down from Clarion, Iowa, last week to attend the funeral of John Dull. Mrs. St. Clair returned with them this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Otha Hyde returned Wednesday evening from their trip through the north and will soon be at their country home northeast of town with their friends.
