FARM HOUSE DESTROYED
~
L. I. Sell and Family of Mills County Lose Home and Goods
~
SILVER CITY, Ia. July 6 – Wednesday afternoon one of the tenant houses of the J. J. Taylor farm, northeast of Silver City, was destroyed by fire with nearly all its contents.

The house was occupied by Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Sell and family and they were able to save but a few of their household effects. As near as can be learned the fire originated in one of the out buildings south of the hog house and the strong wind blowing from that direction soon carried the flames to the dwelling. The loss of the building and contents were partially covered by insurance.
