Malvern Leader January 8, 1885

BROWN- Died Friday evening, December 19, 1864 at 7 o'clock, the infant son of Emerson Brown and Ina B. Brown, age 11 days.
Although this brief life was but as a ray of sunshine in the home of the parents, it was long enough to entwine itself about their hearts leaving therein the sting of disappointed hopes and love when the angel descended and bore its immortal being beyond the scenes of earth. Like a gem, unvarnished by contact with sin, it's never ending life will shine among the glittering jewels of the saviors crown with a brilliancy the world knows not of.
